watching starwars II at the moment…ever realize that the surpreme chancellor palpatine is similar to our current commander in chief? they use deception to be elected to positions of power. they use ruse and lies to gain the confidence of the weak minded…and to them, they’re doing good work…

to whom? the chancellor built a republic around his lies, and darkness…the president has built the country around his lies and his cronies…unfortunately, we don’t have the jedis to come and rescue us common folks…i wonder how long it would be before someone tries a mind trick on us through the television?

- news anchor fades in…”we now have an important message from our president”
- president appears in the oval office: “do not attempt to adjust your television set…i am your president…now and forever…you will all vote for me again…YOU WILL ALL VOTE FOR ME AGAIN!!!!!”
- …news fades to black…

we’re doomed if he’s the one our children looks up to…we’re all doomed if any more like him gets into office. we’ve already lost the respect of the world…at what point do we start losing respect for ourselves because we were the ones who allowed him there?

spending a quiet anniversary at home with the girl tonight…we’ve been together for 4 years…i sometimes think i’ve never lived until i met her…we pair in a way…sometimes…it’s just beyond words. and while i love her, i also respect her, and knowing she feels the same for me, it is the most incredible feeling…

scooter libby isn’t serving time…he’s going to pay some $$, which he has plenty of…and he’s going get probation…which…big deal…just don’t commit another crime…

he outed someone who was undercover in the CIA…put the lives of people in danger…possibly breached national security…but the 30 months he was sentenced to was “too harsh”…TOO FUCKIN HARSH??!! what happened to national security? what happened to safety of the american citizens? or is that something that only works for them when it suits them?

screw democracy…what’s the system now in america?

i’m now another year older…and it’s quite depressing actually. maybe it shouldn’t be…i certainly don’t act 31…but still, here i am…

we’ve the next 5 days off, to do whatever we please. i’ve planned to do very little other than cleaning up the house a bit…
