count on corporate america to make sure you never enjoy your life…
within 30 minutes of returning to work from vacation, i was told that they were doing away with my job, and i was out the door…by 10am i was sitting in barnes and noble next door wondering why the hell they made me get up in the morning to come in only to tell me to go home…c’mon…talk about that sucks right?
the good news is that i received a decent package that will allow me some time to search for another corporate position i can throw myself into…
maybe this is the kick in the ass i needed…i thought about it, and rather than freaking out about it, i actually think that it may be a good thing for me…i’ve been feeling in a rut, and now, i have no choice but to do something about it…
so here we go. let’s see what’s out there for the professional in me…and you never know, maybe we’ll end up on the west coast? =)
