well, it’s finally come and gone. i’m officially 30. we marked the occasion with a dinner party with a few of my closest friends and coworkers. i feel like i’ve passed a nice big mile marker in where i should be in my life…though it’s not like anything is different going from sunday into monday.
we went out, had a few drinks…well, okay, quite a few (and a few pitchers) and i just remember having a great time.
i can’t imagine having done any of it without alexis and to have her next to me the entire night really made it more special. i know that i’ve said it a million times before, but it’s really hit me this weekend…my life isn’t complete without her next to me…she completes me in ways that i never knew it could be possible. sometimes i have trouble knowing where we end and start…
so, here we are…i’m into the third decade of my life…hopefully, it will all turn out to be okay…*fingers crossed*
