fire and brimstone, proverbial hell on earth

humbled at the absolute power of destruction
defiant in the face of such shameless and frivolous display of uselessness
they believe in you;
to take their suffering
to lead to salvation
but where are you when a child suffers without a mother to comfort
where are you when a man cries in desparation as he feels a dull blade on his skin
who are you to dole out rewards
who are you to judge me when you allow no one to judge you
