okay, i’ve gotta stop missing memos…i get up this morning, turned on the news as i always do, and i hear that gay couples in SF are getting married…thinking that i heard wrong, i wait until i get into work to check CNN, and lo and behold, this is what i read about same-sex marriages in SF. Apparently, the actual memo went out on Friday about the same topic. I tell ya, you snooze a little, and see all the shit you’re missing.

anyway, onto another topic, went snowboarding this weekend…and i think my right leg, up to and including my ass, is broken. i took a particularly nasty spill and well, there i go, landing not only on my leg the wrong way, i plop down heavily on my ass. so, now the right cheek is bruised, and the leg is not so hapy either. but eh…i’ll ive. i had an awesome time though…alexis did some boarding right along side of edward, and we would just go, and take a spill, then go, and another spill. fun time to be had by all. i think edward fell in love with the sport, and may even take it up further.

as for me, well, i love being on the snow. i find it funny that i hate the cold but i can stay out on the slopes for as long as anyone else, the cold be damned. i just don’t feel it when i’m there. and it doesn’t even matter whether i’m boarding, or not…just love being out there.

alright, gotta get to work now…ttyl

setting: Press Conference at the White House. After much commotion, Bush appears with the most serious expression he can muster…

Bush: “Ladies and gentlemen, I have good news…” PAUSE
Reporter 1: “We’ve found the WMD’s?”
Reporter 2: “We’re ending the war in Iraq and letting them figure out their own
mess?”
Reporter 3: “We’ve found Bin Laden and we’re going to help the Afghans rebuild
their homeland?”

A pause while everyone waits with bated breath at what the good news could be…

Bush: “No…none of those.”
Reporter 2: “Mr. President, please don’t keep us in suspense anymore…we
need good news in this time of war…”
Bush: “I JUST SAVED A BUNCH ON MY CAR INSURANCE WITH GEICO…”
*HUGE GRIN*
*********************
Can’t you see that as our next geico commercial? i can…that idiot would think it’s a great idea for his reelection campaign…and yes, i’m a registered democrat…

okay, now go catch it…hee hee…just kidding. watching the grammy’s…apparently i’ve missed the memo that the grammy’s this year will be renamed the “beyonce” show…and now we’re doing the funk/soul and otherwise known as the insanely loud and annoying segment. a few surprises…
the surprise is that you have gathered under one roof, some of the most famous names in music industry, and you can’t manage to get it all together and have a good duet. the best performances so far have been justin timberlake and arturo sandoval, and the solo beyonce (or as alexis puts it, bay-on-ce)

ohhh…sarah mclachlan just performed…well, chica definitely put some meat on those bones…but it looks good on her…damn i can’t wait for the concert. funny thing is if i don’t get front row seats for that damn concert in august, you know there will be hell to pay on that stupid fan club site…i will rip them apart…for those of you who have no clue what i’m talking about…

i enrolled in the sarah fan club website to purchase her advanced tickets. however, the rules were, you buy the tickets and you have no idea where you are sitting at the venue until the night of the concert when you pick up your tix at the will call window…doesn’t that sound fuckin retarded to you? well, i posed to question on their board, to see if anyone has the same complaints as me…well, apparently a coup d’etat has started…but in any case, we got the tickets on faith that we will be within the first 20 rows on the floor…i checked ticketmaster on the day of official sale…and i was able to get floor seats, front sections also. well like i said, we’ll see…alright, i think it’s time for bed…the grammy has lost it’s thrall for me after sarah’s performance. later…
