i watched you sleep, sleeping in the faint glow of light filtering through the slightly drawn shades. the scent of our love permeates every corner of the room. the remenants of candles that were burning brightly just moments before are now low glowing embers. i hear your breathing…slow, steady…the peace reflected absolutely beautiful. you wrapped your arms around me, our bodies meshed together naturally, as if it’s always been that way and never known any other position. i sighed and breathed in the smell of your skin, gently kissing your forehead for fear of waking you from the deep slumber you’ve succumbed to.
you stir slightly, only to wrap yourself tighter around me, holding onto me as if for dear life. rather than fighting you, i succumb to your embrace, wrapping myself just as tightly around you. finding my usual place to rest my head, i am instantly enveloped in you.
nestled in the soft pillowy bed, wrapped in each other’s arms and a warm down blanket, i drift off to dreamland in search of you, always confident that i will find you…in dreams, in reality, in this lifetime and the next ones to come.

the mystery of the disappaearing planet has been solved…and the ruler of the planet has returned…yes that is me…
sorry about leaving every one of my subjects for so long…if anyone still reads this thing that is…everything is going well…the gf and i have separate rooms now…the kitchen is finished, the dining area is done…and the living room is prtty much finished as well (save a few book shelves) - our room is done…there’s alexis’s hand print all over the walls as decoration…i think it’s absolutely adorable. and we have a bed, fluffy comforter, fluffy pillows, and let’s not forget a fluffy bed. i swear i’m falling into a cloud every night as i crawl into bed…i thought i was going to hate the bed when sleepys decided to upgrade me (they took 2 weeks to not deliver a bed i ordered…i demanded, and they came through…yay for sleepys) but god no…i love the bed…it’s so comfy…
i’ve been able to cook in our brand new kitchen, and i’ve made a few decent meals…or at least alexis says they’re good…she’s been able to stomach it. okay, so we’re still sort of living out of bags as far as clothes are concerned…but that’s not really a problem…every time i try to find clothes, i just move some of it to the closet…i figured that eventually, it’ll all make it…
i’ve also been learning “fun with power tools” - i’m the handy one around the house apparently, alexis paints and be creative…i put up shelves and vanities, and put together furniture…it’s like playing with lego for me…and she enjoys the artsy aspect of decorating (i don’t…i’m not creative in any way shape or form)
so, the home is coming together…the house warming should be a blast (that’s not for another few weeks…maybe a month) - it’s nice to come home from a long day of work…and see the fruit of our labours manifested in the living room and the bedroom and the kitchen. i like the feel of independence…
anyway…that’s all for now…hope i didn’t bore anyone…i’m sure now that i’ve got the whole setup at home, i’ll be updating this more regularly…

well…sorry for disappearing for so long…been painting, and painting…and more painting…oh wait, and keeping my gf hydrated with plenty of water while she’s sweating away in our new home. hopefully today my contractor has come into our new apartment, and started on the kitchen that we’re suppose to have…haven’t been home just yet…a little afraid to go and see what kind of mess these people made in our apartment…
at least now though, the living room is painted, the bathroom is painted, our bedroom is semi-painted,…just have to put on the white and i think we’re done there…so…moment of truth…we’ll see when the housewarming comes around waht you all think…
just so you know…the artist of the family came up with the color scheme…i like it…but she came up with it…
