That's the real power struggle. Take it from the chick who broke her hand because of parental insanity...me losing my temper didn't change anything. Me staying true to myself...to me, is worth everything. I remember being alone in the ER and sneaking progress calls to you on my cell when the nurse wasn't looking. Can the love of a friend replace that of a parent? Certainly not, but it makes a difference. And that's what I remind myself of when I'm about to blow my top over something stupid. So if it makes any difference in your world, your friend Diana loves you just as you are. It’s laughable that I give anyone advice, but here’s the thing, you can’t let it change who you are.
